Spent a few more hours on the boat today. Polished, waxed, tinted windows and led lamps pushing 1050 lumen each, thay will come in handy for the dark october nights when i seek the Mother of Pike's . just need to fix the wires.
Tomorrow im taking Bettan for a test drive

Sweet! That red really pops! Don't let the guy you bought it from see it! Those lights should be nice.
    Well-done!

Hehe yeah i think he would get mad. he was asking 7500$ for this boat. at 4000$ i think it was a pretty good deal after some minor work.

Uh-oh.... I see it has a Johnson motor. Same as an Evinrude, except Johnsons were made on Friday!

I have a manual for that, still!

MrMagnus, she'e beautiful compared to the first pic of her. You did a fantastic job of cleaning Bettan up. I watched your light testing video & it was great & I had to crack up at the very end when I heard you starting to laugh!!! I love it man. She looks great with the lights on her! A big congrats to you. I do hope you catch the Mother of Pikes!!!!! We all expect to see a boatload of Pikes when you go fishing. As I said, I love it man & she's beautiful, windshields & all.

1+! I am somewhat prejudiced on a red and white boat! Here's the one I had. A little red lawn tractor to move it around.
    Loved that boat!

Those LED lights will be real power misers. The boat is looking great.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

    YONsons.

Looks like a fun boat, Magnus. ENJOY!

The last "boat" I was on was 1,067' long. Displaced 84K tons and could still do 63kmh (39mph) at flank speed thanks to the 4 70K hp steam turbines. The "rooster tail" was quite impressive when the skipper turned up the juice and tried to shake everything loose.

She now resides at the bottom of the Atlantic.
