    It's an L 1, so based on the chart you attached (thanks for that) it could be a 1941 or 1966 model. I think 1966 is more likely...

    I just learned myself last night that the razors didn't get date codes (under the head plate) until 1950. Meanwhile, the blades always had date codes.

    So your razor is more than likely a '66. Combine the "no dates pre-1950", and the "super stainless steel" blades with it, and I can almost (haven't seen the razor head plate myself) guarantee it is a '66.

    Reading down the far right hand side of that chart is interesting, to watch how the blades change over time. Your blades in that pic (s) were first introduced in '66. The Gillette Tech I picked up this weekend was produced in '65, but the blades with it were last produced in 1960. Lol.

    If razors could tell stories... we might not want to hear some of them .
