    It works great

I knew she meant NO. She knew that I knew she meant NO.
But I also knew that I could buy the bike and she couldn't really get mad at me because she said I could do what I wanted.
Now this was a 1 shot deal I knew I would never ever ever have her tell me that again if I went ahead and bought it, but sometimes you just got to go for it.
Still have the bike but my daily ride is now an old Kawasaki, cause the plates are so expensive on the Duck now.
Basically i'm saying cheer up she wont stay mad at you forever

Yep, the above are all correct but there's always that one who wants things for herself but doesn't want you to have what you want. Those are the controlling ones.

Mine is not controlling, and that is one more reason why I love my wife more every day!

Ernie, I am happy for you. Once I find out one is controlling, I move on.

Before the missus kills you give her my address and beg her to send all your shaving gear to me. I'll send a prayer for you to the happy shaving ground.

If that is the case then you have the wrong one, keep looking.
The secret is to find a woman crazy enough to want to be with you but not so crazy that you don`t want to be with her.
It is a very very very fine line.

Like I mentioned, as soon as one shows she is controlling I move on & let her live her own life. I envy those who have good women in their lives & sometimes we have to bend the truth a little to get the things we want. It all works out! I know some good ones now.

That's debatable. it took me 36 years to find the one I got. She's easy on the eyes a pretty good cook and has got a great place to hunt and fish. She says that I'm the best thing that ever happened to her, but she's had a hard life.

It is definitely heavily reground, and likely originally had the barbers notch and more curved spine shape. This later reshaping was common with older razors. The scales are highly likely not original, they look like more modern gutta percha to me but it's impossible to say until they are in hand. Certainly not period pins.

All that said, nice razor! The reshaping doesn't take away from its long history.
I just got back off vacation and picked up the razors at the post office. You're right it is a regrind. I'll polish it up and hone and see how it shaves. I haven't measured it yet but I think it's going to be close to 7/8. It's still a decent old blade and should shave well.
