Oh I think they will look good in hand, my hand that is. Good looking pair of razors you got, congrats.

Sure does look like ivory, for as thin as they are.
    Sweet find

I guess you could't resist. I love pairs, and old Sheffield wedges and Ivory scales. They look like the lines are in pristine condition. I guess what I am try to say is; Nice score Roger!

You made a great catch with that pair. They will look better in the hand than the photo's.
And yes based on the pinning and the thinness of the scales I am thinking ivory as well.
    Enjoy.

I know that all ya'll have seen the glass front boxes that hang on the wall for display. I know I don't have the collection a lot you have but I have been lucky enough to aquire 6 or 7 with these kind of scales and i'm thinking of making a display of them. I have plenty of razors to shave with and i think it would be a shame for me to screw these up. I know that razors like these were made to use but with the vintage blades in good shape getting very scarce I think i should clean and protect.

I'm pretty sure you can make it so that the case opens and closes while hung on the wall, giving the the ability to take one of these little gems out and shaving with them or giving them a coat of wax every now and then. The best of both worlds as far as I can tell.

Just wondering what kind of wax would you use. Right now i keep oil and on some R. I. G. to prevent rust but on one under glass oil or R I G would be too muck of a mess.
