Ive got the Sheffield honed up already. Gave it a few passes on the little German hone I got yesterday after the 12k Nani.
WOW!!! it really puts a keen edge on a razor.
Gotta go give it a try pronto!![emoji54]

    Very nice score!
Must have meant to be..... The razors found a new home and will be cared for properly.

It's crazy what some places put on razors in some of these antique stores. Do they want to sell them or just hold on to them and rust away? I can understand value and all, but really? Price em right and move em out the door. Most are making a profit anyways.

Is it over there or over yonder?

    The Celebrated Razor

A 6/8 no name square point

And a 6/8 Sheffield square point.

Plus they give a 10% discount on purchases of $50. or more [emoji106]

Not really . just alot of antique shops.
Ya got to keep in touch with them weekly. New stuff comes in all the time.
A quick phone call is all it takes. Most can tell you what they have . punch into the web, and look for them in your surrounding area. You'll be suprised. Check estate sales, they usually have a list of things for sale. Or auctions.
Find a old barber, sit down and talk razors with him.
Customers listening , may have a few they'll sell, or like me... Tell of a good place to look.
Theres all types of ways to find them, just open your mind to it. And let the RAD overwelm you.

I take a look at the local shops when I get a chance, but have not found anything worth taking home in a while now. It seems like you are always making nice scores!!

Ive had to expand my searches a little farther away from home and look at other places, other than my usual hunting grounds.
There are bunches of antique shops here in state of Ohio.
Just sad.... Cant get to all of them[emoji1]

Im doing ok with the ebay but your hunting techniques seem to produce serious results. Ill broaden my search per your instructions. Thank you Obi-Wan.

Funny story about barber shops... Last week i went into a local 'barber' shop to chat them up. Nothing but scantily clad females and not a SR in sight. When i think barber shop i think old dudes. The place was even named '(insert guys name)'s barber shop'. I need to find an old school shop with old school dudes. Not one full of well endowed 20 something females.. not that there is anything specificity wrong with that.

    The search continues ..
