Thanked: 4826I have seen a few variations. That one is in remarkable condition. I want one, but have not found the one for me yet. Small amount of acquisition disorder stirring now.

Thanks Willis & RezDog. Apparently this one was hardly used & was put away & pretty well kept. It was an auction & BIN so I figured someone else might hit the BIN, so I got it first! I think if I had waited to bid, it would have been gone. It wasn't that much considering the shape it's in.

Thanked: 1160I wish things like this were made now for those of us who use straights. Don't get me wrong,I like my hones and all but this...if it were more readily available I would use my straight even more than my DE.There are many who make custom razors but none it seems who make accessories like this for example. Oh if only I had a workshop it's a tempting idea and a fella could make good coin making stuff like this. Sometimes I get lazy and get tired of honing y'know what with all the bulky hones and soaking and etc, this would be great to have and travel with, very nice set up. I also wish that there were modern Barber hones made instead of worrying about the ebay hone lotto. Someone here mentioned that someone here was working on that but my memory escapes me on who said what about who since it has been a while now. Any way ,very cool rig there.

Thanked: 228That is very cool and looks to be in great shape. I wish I would have seen it before you!
Then again, I have purchased enough stuff lately, my wife would have killed me! Not really but, you know!

Cool, Steve! I have one on the shelf. Never used it, but it looks likely for traveling.
