Default Cool Old Travel Hone/Strop/Straight Razor Storage

Here's a really cool setup that is perfect for traveling. It has a hone, strop, felt & a storage space for a straight razor plus it has the original box it came in. It is apparently made by American Hone, Olean, NY USA. The leather seems of decent quality & it isn't cracked or dry rotted even on the back side of it.

They are a good quality of goods and the hone is quite mild.
    A great travel companion!
    Congrats!

Will do John. I prefer a straight razor so this beats the Rolls Razor but I think those are cool too just because they are self contained. If a person uses a shave ready straight, it should serve as a great travel companion.

It looks like the box took the wear over time,,, that's good. I would get another container for it, should you decide to travel with it.

You're right John. If I were to travel with it, I wouldn't want to chance destroying the box or adding anymore wear to it. I probably have a box it would fit in.

If it were mine, I would put a little "Bick 4" on it,,, it has probably been 40 years or more since it was conditioned.
