    What unbelievable old world craftsmanship that razor illustrates. The scales are phenomenal, but I just took a closer look at the grind on that blade. At first glance I thought it was a frameback. It is also a great example of the art of the old world
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Wow that blade is very interesting. Love the scales. I want to get a razor with ivory scales down the road, but not sure how to spot them. Bone and Ivory can look the same to me. For the scales being that old they look mint. I'm always amazed that something approaching 200 years old in that conditions that is still usable. That's why I love this hobby.

    There was that era when they shaped the tangs like that. More pointy details. Never seen that much detail on a spine though. Nice grab.
