    If it is just a touch off sometimes you can fix it with a washer on one side or the other. That or buy a cracked one for the scales

    That's actually what I'm doing right now is looking for a new set of scales... I tried the extra washer and even tried two haha nothing... I'm at wits end...

    Yours is a very early first generation filarmonica medallon taurino they were made in a series of 6 or 7 blades with slightly different bull fighting themes and different coloured scales, as yours is a first generation you have a very nice set of quality scales with the solid metal Lyra inlay, all first generation Filarmonica's have quality scales, it's the second generation Filarmonica's that have the cheap plastic scales, enjoy they are super shavers with steel that hold a great edge.

    PS as you don't like the scales as long as you have someone to take them off without damaging them I will willingly buy them off you.

    That's all good info thanks! I like the scales? It was someone else saying that he wasn't found of them...
