Weekend discoveries
Found a couple cool items at the antiques market this weekend. There's an office stamp holder that I thought would make a nice brush holder. It rotates and has a good heavy base. And there's a Wade & Butcher with a faint "Celebrated India Steel" etch. Both need some cleaning up but that's expected and half the fun!

Thanked: 4206I have a similar carousel repurposed for the same task.
Very handy for brushes, and as per Geezer, if you keep an eye out, you can get second tiers as well.. I need one now actually as mine holds 8 and that is no longer enough spots..
Nice WB as well sir..

Thanked: 4826I always though that a little heat shrink tubing would make the holders a little more friendly.

Thanked: 2284You and Geezer with your stamp holders!! I've seen at least 2 in my searches and have thought about buying them. Maybe next time if the price is right, I'll grab one. Lovely W&B too.

The shrink tubing is a great idea, guys! I was trying to think of how to cover the metal. I was about to say what about the stuff you dip the handles of pliers in, I think it's called Plasti-Dip. Anyone ever try that stuff for this?
