Thats just the right thing to do Rez. I too am that way. I feel its just the way folks are to be. Unfortunately, people only think of themselves now days. I should say the younger crowd and of course not all of them are like this but I find it more often than not. What is this world coming too.

Just got done fixing a few CB radios for some customers of mine and got the bench cleaned up. Now to drag out that box of hones. I'll let you all know how it goes. Really in need of a shave and want to give that Kama a go.

Didn't take much to get the Kama splitting hairs. Ha. Anyway I'll put it down and go the the Henckel now but I wanted to share this pic. I was trying to show the size of the bevel. It was hard to get in the pic on my phone. Talk about tiny an even! One piece of tape.Name: 20170701_133939.jpg

Looks like a good grind on a very hollow or bellied hollow ground razor. Bet she just signs when you shave with it.

Very fine shave with this razor. I was a little worried because of the bevel being so small. but end the end, it was a great smooth shave.
No as far as the Henckel, I think someone had messed with it. The tip of the razor hits the wedge every time you close the razor. So I got to looking and figured I'd unpin and pull the wedge out and sand it down so the blade would clear when closing. After pulling the pin I found that the wedge had been sloppily glued to both scales. Now the edge still has the factory edge but I'm starting to think that the original scales got damaged at one time and someone put on these scales (plastic with plastic wedge) as that's all they had.
So I pulled the cheap plastic scales off completely and will make something else for the razor. Someone (I know who, but I'm not going to share the name) sent me some streaked hone and I'm thinking those would look really nice on this Razor. Unless I can find some Original Henckel scales.
So If you happen to have a decent set of Henckel scales your willing to part with for a fair price let me know. I'll post up a WTB ad. Don't want to get my hand slapped for doing wrong here. Ha.

Thanks all for the nice comments. BTW, I went with the 8K and 12K to touch up this razor. Might have gotten away with just the 12K but I wanted to be sure it was right. And it is!
