Wow, that is thick. Yes, I saw that slight smile, and I figured I really have no business trying to hone this one.

The Filarmonica came in the mail today, and I had my first shave with it. Smoooooth and sharp. I think I may get to like these bigger blades. Thanks, Lynn. You are the master!

Well, I had to go ahead and get one too.... I've been putting it off, but if I wait too long I might not get one at all! (I need to get a second job!)

Ahhh I'm still awaiting on mine arriving in the mail from Lynn, I ordered one earlier in the month from classic shaving as well.

That thing just looks all business. I've been drooling over it for some time now.

How was the philarmonic concert when you stropped it?

I got one of these as well. It honed up nicely and shaves great. I like the smile of the blade

I have one complaint about it. This was only the second new razor I have ever bought. While I generally don't give a crap about the appearance of my razors, I think the razor is cheapened by the complete lack of engraving on the tang and the shallow dot-matrix "Filarmonica" etch on the blade.

Come to think of it, I thought of a second complaint. The jimps are kind of half-hearted attempts. They do exist but they feel like someone had filed them down. Your can tell they are there but they don't provide the grip/feel that they should.

Now I feel the urge to repeat that the razor shaves great and I am glad that I got it!
