I have been going back and forth on this for weeks, till last night I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger. Unfortunately, it seems CS raised the price yesterday by $20. After a good five minutes or cursing, I figured, the price difference wasn't worth the amount of frustration I'd be facing for days to come, and, hey, the price won't be going down, that's for sure...

So, it should be on it's way to Ohio for my first Lynn honed razor!

Ahh I just ordered one of those today too.. was thinking I just bought all that other stuff and don't need a razor, but I'll look anyway and ran across that one, figured they probably won't last long. I had them send it to Lynn for honing also. Seems I've spent a lot this past week have 8 orders yet to arrive and I'm thinking about buying a maestro livi even if I don't get in on the group buy . . good thing I'm single without a girlfriend or a wife, I'd have a lot of explaining if I were married!

Those are absolutely top notch shavers. You should be very happy with it, especially after Lynn gets through working his magic!

Well, that settles that, looks like I'll have to be getting one of these next since its my Last Chance...

Is it because they're now not making any more. Find that happens a lot.

I have one of these, and it is indeed a great shaver! It's a hefty blade with a thick spine, and it has a nice smile to the edge. Here's some comparison photos with a Clauss 6/8...
