Monster
I got my Filarmonica yesterday ... WHAT A MONSTER! I love it, and I am looking forward to using it tonight. I must say that I like the simple design on the blade, nothing fancy, just classic.
The only thing I can fault are the scales. Granted, this is not a fancy model, but the end of the scales near the spacer was very poorly trimed of the flash from molding... but I can get past that.

Same but different, just received the CS filly freshly hone by Lynn (thank you) today. It brought the obvious comparison and the CS model is a bit larger. It actually feels a lot larger in the your hand, at least to me.
Kind regards,

Gerard,
I have a Filly Sub-Cero that looks a lot like the one on the left of your picture. It is my favorite razor. Nice heft, good control and holds an edge for a long time. Bought mine for about $42 last July on eBay. Unfortunately, I don't think that I will be able to find another at that price any time soon...
Enjoy!

If you can PM or email me and buy 2 for me, I will happily pay you. These are both Doble Temple No. 13's so that was my reason for comparison. I will shave with it tomorrow to get a better idea of the overall feel. But it sized up closer to my No.14. I think it's the same size actually...nice deal from CS all in all.
Kind regards

Well let me resurrect an old thread..I bought one from CS today. After yet another great shave from my 7/8 Friodur I decided I wanted another big razor. Now CS is offering it "presharpened"(doesn't Lynn do their honing?) which makes the price just amazing

I believe the $20 increase in the price id due to the razor being prehoned,
Limited Edition Razors & Knives
I think he read the review on this razor here and started having them prehoned,

just my 2 cents worth, really nice looking razors
