The price of the Renaissance in my pic is hidden below it. The one marked 'Dovo' is the price of the one at the top. Check out the location of each price. The one at the bottom of my pic has a price below it.

Good catch. Now it makes me wonder what razor is behind the Renaissance for that much. I'd say it's a Dovo Bismarck, in which case, the price would still be pretty high.

Yup, it's a Bismarck, and yes it is priced quite high. And so was the Renaissance.

My new "tosuke" is finally honed, I'll give it a maiden voyage this weekend...

I know this threads a bit old,.. But can anyone tell me whether this shop still exists ? I'm looking for a nice straight edge razor.. Prefer Damascus coz most of my kitchen knives r this and they cut superbly and look exquisite :-)

Cheers n thanks for great sharing!

You can find damaskus kamisori, but just to make sure you understand damaskus will not make the edge better what matters is the steel that makes the edge which is sandwiched with damaskus. Damaskus blades look better than kasumi and are more expensive, that is about it.
