Thanked: 131My Japanese haul (and the other things the shop sold)
OK guys many of you have asked to see pictures of the stuff I found and the shopping I did while in Japan (looks at Old_School ) so for the benefit of you all I will TRY to post for you what I can. Bear with me cos i've never posted pics on the forum before and there are a few......
EDIT: Well seeing as I dont know how to post and i'm still getting used to my new Mac (having never used Mac OS before!)
If someone can tell me how to do it so that they are the acceptable size for the forum then tell me and i'll upload

Thanked: 1The easiest way I've found to post photo is to start an account at Photobucket (many people prefer Flickr), upload photos there, and paste the link info from the bottom of the four choices (IMG) into the post--pretty easy, once you get used to it.
Eager to see your haul!

Thanked: 131Well my flight has been delayed which is just as well cos uploading these pics to photobucket has been more hassle than it should have been. I had to resize them all so I hope this works....
EDIT: Alright! I rule!!!! OK this is the stone which my darling lady wife bought for me. Its as smooth as can be . The first pic shows the box it came in and the only marking on box or stone was the small sticker written in Kanji in the 2nd last pic. Sadly I dont read Kanji but if anyone can tell me what it says i'll be very grateful. Oh and the first person to tell me it is Kanji for 'Zeepk' gets thumped. More pics to follow....Last edited by sidneykidney; 04-18-2008 at 06:57 AM.

Thanked: 131OK more pics. These are pics of the brush that I got. Pure badger hair (my first real hair brush). Also, these pics show what other juicy goodies were on offer at the store. I recognized some of the products, but not all of them.

Thanked: 131These final pics are for the benefit of Old_School and anyone going through/living in Japan. It is the buisness card of the place where we bought the stuff. Sadly the whole thing is in Kanji. Translations welcomed.
As a final thought it is recommended to not log onto and use an airport website to visit a website about straight razors and upload pictures of straight razors.
Eyebrows tend to get raised......
