They are all honed but we did not want to take the time holding them up to test shave so if anything a little paste that's it but should be ready to go.

That is really a shaver.

Maybe next time finances will allow me to get in on the fun. Congrats! She's a beaut!

I got mine and wowser it's HUGE. A bit initimidating to be sure but no problems with the first shave. I don't think people realize just how physically big this is. Perhaps someone with a handy camera can post a pix of the Mastro alongside a "normal" razor for scale.

Thanks for letting us know that they were honed. I was really afraid of messing up the finish. As it was, a nice clean shave. I might... just might... give it a few passes on a pasted strop but that's it.
