despite my hopes and expectations it wasn't 6/8, not even 13/16, not even 7/8... it's 1" wide.
But the olive wood scales are quite light and the razor feels very comfortable in the hand.
Plus it would double nicely as a cleaver for this hard parmigiano...

You are a true sadist my boy! A sadist among sadists!! A sadist of the umpteenth order no doubt!!!

I like the razor too!!

I can only hope someone dis-likes it and ships it off to me to take off their hands.
