This Dovo Red Bismarck 6/8" Carbon Steel Straight Razor has polished nickel bands bordering a Perlex inlay with Solingen across it. In red composition handles with a white spacer. The blade is made from Solingen High Carbon Steel. It is full hollow ground. It has hand file work and gold plating on the blade and tang.

Just got back from Christmas dinner at our Daughters house. I'm stuffed. Here's the picture of my new Wade & Butcher Celebrated Extra Hollow Ground Razor and my antique shaving mug. I will now retire my Anchor Hocking coffee mug that I've been using. Just moved up a notch in my kit. Now to get the blade to Dylan for a fine honing and another razor in my rotation. Life is good.
Nice gear Miner, You are going to love that W&B

Didn't get any shaving gear, but I DID get a watch (my old G-Shock died on me, so needed a new one for my sports umpiring). Also got a bottle of Jager from my sister, and a large amount of miscellaneous kitchenware from my parents for my new house, which will definitely come in handy.

Awesome Glen! Looking forward to seeing your pictures with some increased megapixels.

Me, I got an Amazon Kindle. Pretty neat little toy. Going to help get me back into reading. First thing I put on there was, "Practice and Science of Standard Barbering" pdf.

At last, I got something. Double Black AS by RL.

Nice smell so I'm very happy.

Looks like you guys did well, keep the picks coming - it's great to see them, and live a little vicariously.
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

I've got a scuttle waiting for me at home when I get back and some Edwin Jagger sandalwood shave soap which I brought with me. Tried the soap yesterday, not much of a scent with it I thought but was pretty nice to use.
