I got to go home and spend Christmas with my wife and daughter, that was all the gift I needed. I work out of town and am gone a lot, 21 days at a time, then home for a few and gone again. Getting to go home was great.

Bought myself a Gold Dollar 100 (that hasn't arrived yet) and the kids got me a hot lather machine. Been experimenting with the hot lather machine with gel and a brush & bowl. So far straight out of machine and applied with hands to face warmed/moistened with hot towels works best.

You guys got some great gear. I didn't get anything shaving related (besides some Bigelow cream) but I did get a new humidor for the sticks.

Well, in the shaving department Santa was very generous this year.
Custom 8/8 Robert Williams Spanish Point in dark Buffalo horn.
Semogue Excelsior Boar Limited Edition 2009.
Georgetown Pottery G5 Scuttle in Hamada and blue.
Custom 7/8 L.R.Harner in black and red Burlap burl.
Also, in Rhode Island one of Santas helpers is working on something special for me. Oh and not to forget, the kids also got what they wished for

Aside from her giving me some expert kindness, the boss gave me a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks for my MINI. I don't think there is a better snow tire for a sports car! My little car in the snow is an amazing thing! My brother and parents gave me some sorely needed cash. After paying some bills, I bought myself one of these:
