    Kingcobradude: I can only say that I don't think they are synthetic. If you look at the picture above you can see the brown speckling on the end of the handle. These brown spots are in relief, as if it were made out of possibly bone. I have a sneaking suspicion that it's either bone or ivory. However, I do not have the knowledge to say for sure, and the man to whom these razors belonged is long since passed away. If anybody else can elucidate what the material is, I would also be interested in knowing.
