Not mine, but through ebay. Note the similarities in scale and tail shape. Like the others, this one also has a thumbnotch and consistent shape. Without having its original finish it's hard to say for sure if this was the intended shape, but take it as some more evidence

Here ya go. Old, made that way. See how the spine drops off and tapers to the edge? Same razor! Old stuff.

See I know just enough to be dangerous. Mine is definitley new .Plus your observation of the 6/8 means that somebody was copying the old ways. I stand corrected Sir.

Means it is 20th century by looking at the tang style and dimensions. I expect it was an average 6/8 till it got hot-rodded!
Razors like this shave great! A part of razor history!

Do you have a top-down shot of the spine? The trademark on this WB seems to have come much later than the time period associated with the most tapered blades (c. 1840). This one looks just worn to me. If it is tapered you'll see it in the top of the spine pretty clearly.

It is another beautiful W/B . As I look at the spine I don't see the taper , granted I am comparing it to Sharptons earlier post and image.
That image showed a thicker spine that tapered as towards the toe. Yours appears to be equidistant in thickness along the length of the spine.
Thank-you for showing the community another gorgeous straight.
Your only as good as your last hone job.

You need a shot from this kind of angle to see the taper:

The spine, in thickness and not height, is basically wider near the heel and thinner near the toe.

But also to complicate things, it looks like the WB above has seen a good bit of grinding, making things harder to say for certain.
