I confess I collected several to go with my vintage barbershop I was putting together before I began to shave with them. I started looking at the forums and thought "why not? I agree on the history as well. It is truly neat to research them as best I can. It is awesome to come here and post them to have real experts such as Neil Miller and Manah fill in the blanks. That is my favorite part of collecting. The shaves are great too!

Always like the looks of Big razors. I have a few that shave well but I have trouble seeing my face around the blade. Not sure if it's a focus problem but blades that size just block the view.
( may be just vain and not a focus thing(:-)

Here is what it may look like all cleaned up. Use it in good health.

See this is exactly why I love the people in this forum. Because everyone gets it. There are so many different facets and avenues that lead us all here to the same spot. I do graphic design (hence the name cheetah meat) and I love all kinds of vintage stuff so I thought It would be cool to display some huge straight razors in old oval wooden frames with the convex bubble glass. The type of frames that your grand mother or great grand mother would have in her house with the black and white photo of the whole family inside. Well the project fell through but I started doing some research and the rest is history..but I'm still committed to finding the largest straight razors available.
