8/8 Wade and Butcher with Barbers Notch
Hi yall. It's me Cheetah Meat again with another 8/8 For Barber's Use W&B. Waiting on this one to show up. This one featuring some fire red rust that is waiting to be removed by yours truely. Another over priced restore waiting to happen. I will at least post pics after the first round of rust removal and patina purging. In the mean time you'll have to deal with the low prison lighting and the mug shot measurements on either side of the photos.
My goal is to have my 1st ever straight razor shave by labor day. Since big Wade and Butcher wedges have become my labor of love, I find it fitting.
This is number 4 in the W&B For Barbers Use Category
thanks
C.M.P.

Nice score. I might have had a bid or two on that one. Post some pics once you get it cleaned up.

This is what the listing had to say:
The bone handle has a small chip with some light wear. The blade has a small amount of surface tarnish and rust but no pitting.
The blade has no cracks and is very sharp.
I wish that I had it in hand to verify your concern...or should i now say - my concern

Why not Wullie? I want to grow up and be a man just like you. Teach secret handshakes, smell of hints of leather and linseed oil and make moonshine out of mother mag polish....LOL. There is no better way to learn how to shave than with something I could possibly drop in my first try and cut my big toe off. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO LEARN...LMAO. I HAVE MADE UP MY MIND. DON"T TRY AND STOP ME. Now pass me some moonshine and a hone. I've got a face to shave...LOL Pass me some gauze too while you're at it.

I don't think it is cracked either. If it was a thinner, double-stabilized one, maybe. Having a crack in that one would be like a crack in an axe! Unlikely!
