Thanked: 2027not really, any big blade will command the big bucks,if a quality blade.Have sold a couple large palmeras on the bay lately.they bring more than W&Bs (sold price)
You see on the bay the asking, or buy it now price, this means nothing.
What did the blade actually sell for/If it sold, most of the off the wall W&Bs never sell. for anywhere near what the seller is asking.

I honed Joe's 9/8 W&B yesterday at the SRP meet. Considering its size it was very easy to hone and took a very nice edge, beautiful razor.

Here's a 9/8 W&B I picked up at a steal of price. I'm estimating 1860's-ish or so. Like the OP's, it's all original,no hone wear, and all I did was give it a polish and honing. It's one of my best and favorite shavers. It's usually the blade I take when I travel. I lucked out with this one.
