Congrats! I have that bad boy's twin here and it's a fantastic shaver!
Can't say for sure from the pics but those scales look like they are in great shape. Give them a good soak in 100% neatsfoot oil and I bet they'll come back to life nicely.
Is there much rust down by the pivot? If not you may get it back in use without unpinning. If there is, then I'd probably send it to a pro if you're not feeling too confident. It would be nice to keep it all original as you say. On mine the only thing I could salvage other than the blade was the wedge.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
