In keeping with The Real World of "reality" shows, I propose this thread be called: "Men Who Talk About Tape Threads... And The Women Who Love Them" (we could get Geraldo Rivera to host/moderate it... maybe).

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

I recently purchased some balsa wood and contact adhesive, using a strop i had kinda killed on day one i have fashioned a nifty little paddle strop.
Should i be putting tape on the handle area?

Since you are in Sunderland, Stev, I would say yes. Most definitely!

This conundrum makes me think on how I see 'the latest news flash' on TV about some 'new' revealing scientific study on why it hurts to touch a hot wood stove! Every few years the same revalations. The longer your alive and have experinced, the more younger people have not experienced yet and need to be taught. Just gotta grin and bare it, and show 'em the way.
Jimbo, gugi and sharptonn like this.
"The needs of the many out way the needs of the few or the one." Only if the 'few' or the 'one' are/is offering themselves (thru freewill) for the sacrifice. And not thru force from the 'many'.
