Dylan, in terms of moderation it is still 'run' by volunteers, but in terms of systems administration, AFAIK, gugi and Bruno are the only two who are maintaining the site, working for a living, and in Bruno's case, raising a family. Not sure if gugi has the stress & strife, or the kids, but I'm pretty sure he has a full time job.
I remember the fund raiser you handled. That was for a new server IIRC. Back in those days there were a few systems administrators on staff as volunteers, besides Bruno & gugi. Different kettle of fish now.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I've put the points so far up for discussion.
The item about member services will possibly by pushed back to the feedback round of the vendor program.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

I couldn't agree more Randy on these two classifications...IMHO these are at the top of the list of reasons for SRP's popularity. Especially for new guys. I mentor and do honing for lots of folks here in my area. As an example I spent over an hour on the phone yesterday walking a new guy step by step through the process of restoring some vintage strops that he picked up on the Bay.

Hmmmm. The vendor title doesn't show up on past posts. Perhaps it will on this new post.
I'm trying to get my website up to date before I put it in my signature.
Thank you very much Bruno.

Thanked: 12I haven't been on here in a while, and didn't realize the classifieds had gone away until I saw this thread on the right hand side of the forum page. It seams good over all, but for me I miss being able to see the price with out haveing to click on each item. Being honest,I'm totally picking nits, but would it be possible to search by price or arrange the view to see lowest first, highest first or what ever. I understand if would be a big undertaking and that's why it's not done. Trying to be constructive in criticizing.
