I think JB just said he has figured out a workaround to get to the page he wants quickly and easily.

They both were talking far beyond my understanding. I just push the same buttons I've been pushing for years and it works for me. Damn computers!

Well, I'just added two more buttons to push on the home page. The title of the "Recent Forum Posts" block to the left and once more at the bottom of it.
The geekery talk was figuring out what exactly was needed and what's a good way to achieve it.

P.S. It probably needs a bit more tweaking to take into account whether a person is logged in or not as this first draft was mostly 'proof of concept' of something I thought may be possible.

Plus it gave me a chance to discover something that was partially broken so that I could fix it (sorry about the unscheduled maintenance downtime but it was best to deal with the corruption right away).
