Thanks!
S'Okay with me cause I still have my old cluttered messy buttons. (Its kind of like coming home and finding SWMBO has "cleaned up" your honing gear. You smile, say thank you and set about finding everything (so you can hide it where YOU know where it is).

I still think that it's a bad call to do anything that it will make using the site harder. I can think of a few top-row buttons that I'd have removed way before the "New Posts" button (i.e. Chat, Webcast, Reviews, Community). I think I may have used those buttons once just to see what they did, and never touched them again. "New Posts" on the other hand, I used 20 times a day!
Just my $0.02 though.

IME once "they" make a change they never admit they were wrong and change something back. Remember.... it is not a democracy. They may promise to compromise but that is just to buy time figuring that in a few days or a week everyone will get used to the change and shut up. If a member is angry enough to leave "they" don't care, that is his problem. He'll be forgotten soon and the forum will continue with more new guys coming in all the time.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 328Very shortly. I'm leaving on vacation for a few well deserved days. Bruno is working on it, and should have it done shortly.

Either today or tomorrow Jimmy. I have to figure out where the status box code is located, and then add the old code for the new posts. That and have a life
Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
To spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the Last Day

I cannot say I am happy with the change. One more line of text is now taken away from the real estate available for page content.
Could you please try to move the "New posts" link next to the message "Welcome, Member."?
