I actually find myself accessing new posts via the quick links button now, even though I have the new post link closer now than it was before

Thanked: 131I sometimes access the internet through my phone and cant use the 'quick links' button for some reason. If I want to see my User CP I have to go via my own profile page to see recent posts or remember where the thread is
Oh well.
EDIT: The link which I guess can be bookmarked and is the one I use is:
But that assumes you have set yourself to stay logged in under your username and password or have stored the user/pword combo on your computer.Last edited by sidneykidney; 10-02-2009 at 10:03 AM.

And there is the User CP link again, next to the new posts link.
This should also be accessible to the mobile agents.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

no problem accessing the site when logged in can find 3 ways to get to new post via front page, all is good and thanks for the work
however when I access it from other locations without logging in I don't see a way to access either new post or todays post at all and there is no quick links button either,
the only way to view the site is to choose forums then browse them one at a time, while not a big deal to me as I can log in and view from home it might make it difficult for people who haven't registered and don't have a log in name yet and I would assume most of them would be new guys checking out the site for the first few times

I don't know about quicklinks, but for new posts it is normal that you can't use it, as this is linked to your user account. No user account -> no new posts.
EDIT: just checked quicklinks, all items are related to a user account. That is probably the reason.
In any case, this is the sound of me not caring.

New posts is typically not used by newbies (if it would even work without an acount, which it doesn't). They'll navigate the forums, trying to figure out where they can ask which question, or find which information. They won't be able to use 'new posts' properly as long as they are clueless. Once they know what is what, they can make the decision to register or not. But if they can't even be bothered to register, then I can't be bothered to care. Especially for features that are not of importance to the newbie finding SRP, and which were not designed to be separate from a user account).Last edited by Bruno; 10-02-2009 at 01:11 PM.

I guess this change also removed the "Today's posts" from unlogged guest's top bar.
Where can I find this button for those days when I'm browsing the site on my mobile without signing in (for security reasons I don't wanna sign in from it)?
