Tsk, Tsk, Tsk... You have completely overlooked the Project Management part and the Feasibility Studies. From experience I can tell you that putting the critical timeline together will take about 9 months for a solid draft, probably 12 to 18 for a final. And this is if the feasibility studies come in on time.
I think that you cannot in good faith promise a delivery date any sooner than March-April 2015, and more likely it'll be sometime around December.

Do they still call it V3? You'd think that after a while they'd drop the version. Logically, a framework should never have versions attached, but I guess they need to in order to sell the training.

Compared to the Classifieds/For Sale sections I have seen on other message boards, the SRP one is a Cadillac. Just sayin'...

I"m very very sorry about the apparent notion that I take this site for granted, nothing could be farther from the truth and that is why I spend a couple of hours a day on it!! The only reason I would make a suggestion about any of the features is that I DO care quite a bit. I'm sure it takes the effort of many individuals to make the SRP site as good as it is!!! I appreciate that fact most accutely. And again, I"m sorry about the apperance that I"m being needlessly persnickety.
Keep up the good work and try to forgive me if possible.

Thanked: 3795I see nothing wrong with expressing your opinion about an aspect of the site. I have occasionally made suggestions too, because I value this forum and see nothing wrong with throwing out a suggestion. The powers that be can choose to consider it or not, but I think everyone should be welcomed to make suggestions, as long as they are will to be mocked for them.

Bit much sarcasm, no? I also found that annoying, perhaps SOLDs could be moved to another part of the classifieds section...
I mean, wasn't that much annoying that I'd start a thread over it, but there's no need to flame it so.
Obviously I don't understand the potential difficulties that altering the software will entail but if it's possible that'd be nice :-)

Thanked: 1262I thought it was obvious I was being facetious in my post. Between the tone of the OP and the fact that I had just spent a few hours working on upgrades to the site, my snark was turned up to 11.
There is nothing wrong with making suggestions/comments. Otherwise we would not have this sub-forum. If your requests are more demands than requests though remember the following, to every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction.
We will never be able to customize the classifieds enough to make everyone happy. We do try to make the best we can for for the majority. With that said, do not expect any changes until we get a chance to install and test the new version of the classifieds software.
