seems weird i have also changed the settings around and around but no joy although i am using the forum outside the main frame now so seems ok the problem is becuase the colours and forum are a lot bigger people walking past my desk at work can see it is a forum striaght (no pun intended) away

Well, not all Javascript is blocked. I haven't honestly figured out what the rhyme or reason is to it. Some web sites are blocked as well, and aside from the obvious, I have been denied access to a site dedicated to the breeding of Ocicats, and to a site about saber fencing. Apparently these sites had "potentially inappropriate content." *shrug* I'm pretty sure that javascript that manipulates the scrollbar would be allowed, though.
