    Default Sidebar ad

On some other forums they offer paid memberships and among the benefits are no adverts appear for paying members.

    Just sharing info...

I wouldn't mind making a voluntary contribution, but the point was that the ad is making specific parts of the forum less enjoyable, specifically all three forums in The Gallery.

this would make sense. as is the vertical app is only visible on the header as well as maybe the first onoe or two posts. as you scroll down the bar is still there but the ad itself doesnt scroll down with it. so having it across the top (there already is one in the header) or bottom should work. Or thy could make the ad scroll down with you as you move down so the bar is always displaying some ad. that option is really only desirable to the person paying for the ad

I know when trying to see PM's, I actually only get half a screen width to read/reply.

Gives me the irrit's too! Especially when I found I couldn't close the ad to regain the screen space.

The mods are pretty good about seeing these things. If there's no response, it probably means there's a conversation going on in the background. That's cool with me; I just wanted someone to consider the options.

Not sure if this will work for everyone, but for me changing the forum skin from "SRP Default" to "Straight Razor Place" helped mitigate the space issue a bit. Bottom left of screen, drop down box.

    This is being discussed...

In the meantime, check your theme selector.
