Very interesting Martin, thanks for another informative thread. I tried Williams years ago and don't really remember how I felt about it one way or the other. Looking at the photo of Mr. James Baker Williams in the original post, I have to wonder how he ever developed a shaving cream ?
Judging by that full beard I'd say he certainly didn't try it himself !

i cheated .. i used it but after applying it i mixed in some Proraso blue then reapplied a second coat of lather on my fur i had growing !!
