    I guess I should have clarified it to only domestic soaps, made in America. Wasn't much to choose from.. So

    The last time I got a puck of modern Williams, it was probably 2-3 years ago, and I paid $0.99 at Krogers on markdown. Usually it was something like $1.20-1.30.

    So yes, in today’s dollars it’s cheaper. But as before, I’m certain that when it was reformulated away from tallow, it wasn’t a more expensive formula.

    I still use it once in a while, it works nothing fancy.

    I use this soap as a base to make my own unique blend. It works well for that!

    I myself a regular user of the modern version and I don’t have any trouble using it, as a matter of fact to me it’s a great soap
