I just used the Proraso Blue cream a few days ago for the first time. RG's review is spot on. It immediately produces a great slick, cushioning lather, even in my rock hard water. There is just enough menthol to help out. I also agree that a little goes a long way. I could have easily done two 3-pass shaves. The "Blue" will stay in the Den.

I wouldn't do that. I would keep em in case of emergency. Never bet on one horse
What if something happens and you end up with no shaving cream/soap?
However, there's always room for one more.

Thanks for the review, I have the green soap now and wil definetly try the blue one in the maybe near future...

    Sometimes I feel normal.
Then it's time to lay down and wait for it to pass.

I've only tried a sample (about 3 shave's worth) of the Blue, and it quickly became my favorite Proraso product. I will be ordering a full tube eventually (once I wear down some of the other soaps and creams I have).

I reviewed the red Proraso few days ago. In my opinion it is the best cream of the four.

Must have missed that, will look for the review.

IMO, I couldn't agree more, the Red is superb. I know it's sacrilegious almost to say it, but for me it stands just fine beside DR Harris, MWF and Tabac, it simply always performs and provides a consistent experience.

I think everyone should have a bowl of Proraso Red!!!

My next step is in fact to buy a tub of red Proraso, but it seems to be very difficult to find Proraso soaps in Italy with the exception of green and canned foams.
It is very funny, but it seems to be easier to find them outside Italy. Very, very odd!

Nah, it's not. I have cheappie creams that are still very good, and expensiver ones that aren't. I don't hold with cream snobbery.
Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast
