I have never tried Trumper's soaps because of past threads and comments of a similar nature. However, there are a few products that I really like:

I do have one Trumper's soap - "Officers and Gentlemen" - that I bought a few years ago solely for the name and the picture of the old school calvary soldiers on the box. I have to say that I like this soap. Not amoung my best but I do like it and I think the performance is better than good. I don't know if it is pre-reformulation or if it is a different animal than what above I called "typical" (sold at many vendors, can be found in the wooden bowl. whatever) but either way I like it and think that it is worth a try. It is meant to be a refill for Trumper's scuttle (along with "Oxford Blue," which I have never tried) so the puck is smaller than the other flavors, so if anyone is thinking of trying it, you need to take this into account when accessing it's value to you.
