I'm sorry guys but I don't like Proraso Red. It just doesn't push my buttons.

Proraso Green is a favourite but I've never taken to the Red. Perhaps it's the scent or the Shea butter- I just don't know. I've read that the Sandalwood scent is very genuine to a true sandalwood in comparison to others labelled "sandalwood". That's weird though as an earlier (hard) soap I formerly had was Sandalwood from Western Australia and it was lovely.

Well, I used up a tub of green which I thought was great, got the red about a month ago, and yep, good stuff. Even better, the wife loves the scent.

Lots of proraso love here it seems. I'm considering give it a shot to see what I'll think. You guys recommend a newbie trying red, white or green first?

    You missed blue! [emoji13]

IMHO Green is classic (but note that it's got menthol...)

The Blue Proraso has become my "go to" cream. I love it and it is slicker than anything else I use. I face lather and I can get it to still lather by adding water to what's left on my brush and on may face for 2 full passes and a few touch up spots. It is slick even if it's really thinned and watery for those last touch up passes.
