For soaps, Marggard Lime and Bergamot, Proraso Green and Pre de Provence. For creams Proraso Red, DR Harris Arlington, Tabac.

Not Hirlau but I also use the kilo brick.

I cut enough to fit into a container and then seal the rest in a zip lock bag and store in a cool place.

Before I got the brick, a Cella fanatic told me the croap does best if stored in a sealed container between uses. I employed one of those Glasslock bowls with a hermetic seal, and the soap hasn't failed me yet.

I also have TOBS cream, which I find to be excellent, so I only use that on occasion.

I approach my software selection somewhat different..I shave daily...

Monday is Menthol Monday, so anything with a cool breeze. Proraso, Tom's of Maine, Arko Menthol, Lea Menthol, Mama Bears in a few flavors. Finish with either Hazogel or Barbasol Pac Rush spiked with menthol crystals.

Tuesday is Fat Tuesday.. Mitchell's Wool Fat. I have the traditional puck as well as stick, just to mix things up.

Wednesday & Thursday are open.. Whatever I grab. VDH Dlx, Valobra, LaToya Manintiales, Kell's Original, Arko, Speick, The Holy Black.. there is a pretty long list.

Friday is Face Freeze Friday, to it's those I use on Monday and a few others that are really cooling.

Saturday and Sunday are the decadent days so I reach for the more luxurious such as Tabac, GFT, Porto Cale, i Coloniali, P.160, LaToya

Lately it's been De Vergulde Hand. I have a lot of soaps but seem to burn out on the scents quickly, apparently I'm o.k. with this one.

I'm with you for Monday (Something Menthol) and MWFat Tuesday...

Over the weekend I was rummaging through the under the counter stash looking for the Valobra that I swore I had (could not find it) but oh was there a lot of stuff there.
I lost count (over 6) of the containers of great soaps that have 5 - 20 shaves left, two from Jabonman no less.
So I need to start working them in...I found an empty Proraso Green tub, reminding me of when I had only one soap and I used it to completion...then I said: "I think I will try something else..." and SAD begins.

At least here in the forum I know I will not be judged...

Ive been using Proraso Red, it's pretty nice! Lasts a long time too, I've had the same tub for 4 months, still half full. I shave everyday.

For the last two or three years AoS Unscented Cream has been my go-to lather. I haven't tried Castle Forbes or MWF yet, so that could change...
