There are so many creams out there I'de like to try, but I've had such great results using Nivea sensitive cream. It's fantastic on its own, mixed with other shave soaps, a little goes a long way and its highly affordable. Currently I am mixing with Proraso Red. The downside is that Nivea's scent, while very pleasant, can overpower the scent of the soap. Now if Nivea offered the same cream unscented it would be a perfect medium for mixing. Should look into that. Perhaps there's a comparable product out there...?

Either Stirling's Barbershop or their Margaritas in the Arctic. Love them both.

AoS Sandalwood or Ocean Kelp creams are the top of the order when I want a great lather with minimal effort. For soap..Cade, Cella, or RazoRock (ABCBA, original formula XXX or Don Marco).
Now if I don't mind working on it a tad on the soaps...any of the C&E offerings are great as is Grim Blades "Smolder".

Thanked: 5I'm really liking TOBS Eton College. Lately I ordered a bunch of samples from Mama Bear that I've been trying. They've been great so far.

Thanked: 14Recently my favorite soap is Barrister & Mann any scent. Easy to lather, good glide & cushion, pleasant scents, large diameter container & reasonable cost. IMO B&M performs as well as MdC at half the cost plus it's American made. There are also other good performing American made artisan soaps. I prefer soaps so I don't have any favorite creams.
