Just had to add more Cella to my bowl. 1/4 bowl filled after 3 months of use and I'm not stingy with the lathering, so there must be a nightly soap fairy visiting my shave cabinet while I sleep. love this soap

No, and I was running less than .5 gram/shave when I started the test.
I think .5 to .7gram/shave is very doable.

Part of my problem was I started breaking in a new Omega 10098 - that probably skewed the numbers.

So getting 4 years out of a 1kg block is doable and 5 years would not surprise me.

And you have to admit that is amazing...

I bought a little red tub of the stuff some years ago, and it still going strong. Admittedly its been in my rotation an not used everyday, however it's performance is superb.
