    Hello, Pierpaolo,

    I know who you are. It is a citric scent (more Litsea cubeba than lime) that has nothing to do with the scent of Schwarbier. They just use it for its skin appeal.

    I hope that helps.

    I have it and it's a really unique scent and hard to describe. It has some citrus but it has kind of a beer tone to it. It's not for everybody.

    Darn it, I was really hoping it smelled like Köstritzer.

    @Robin
    Thanks for help.
    Now I can undertand, It's very difficult to "read" these scents ... quite unique.

    That's what I call a huge bunch of samples!!!

    Sorry for link to Italian forum, but my first tests on MT soaps samples is too long and not so easy to translate with my poor English.
    Hope GTrans will help.

    BTW, as costumer, as collector, as pharmacist ... I'm very impressed!!!

    I would like to thank ischiapp for the thorough review. Here it is in English (sort of, via Google translation): review. Having tried a number of Meißner Tremonia's products, I would like to second what Pierpaolo said: These products are out of the ordinary. More than that, they give every soap, and most creams, I know a run for their money.

    While many products these days are capable of producing adequate lather, not too many deliver skin care properties that are worth mentioning. Castle Forbes, Esbjerg, Alvarez Gomez, or Martin de Candre are notable exceptions. Meißner Termonia beat all of them in the skin care department in my opinion, and their overall performance is remarkable.

    Add to that the fact that you are looking at a true artisan product, and you have a winner. Your mileage may, as always, vary, but I am hooked.

    Can anybody give us an idea of how much they paid for shipping to the US?

    Too much. Their products will become available through a well known and trustworthy vendor shortly, though, I was told.

    Yes, too much. I had a pretty big order and I paid around 60 Euros shipping. However it arrived in just a few days DHL.
