I've read plenty of BeBerlin's reviews in the past, years and years ago, and I came to the conclusion I really like his taste and pretty much always agreed after trying out the products myself...
sooooo, I guess I'll have to send some money Meissner's way and order some of their creams and soaps. There simply is no other solution.
Money schmoney, their line of products looks fiinnnee!
Thanks Robin, appreciate the review!

Thanks for the post - I have ordered 3 shaving soaps and 1 cream from them together with a pre-shave soap yesterday - free delivery to France ...
I am really looking forward to receive them and try them and make a benchmark with what I have today which is not reasonable at all as many of us ....

Thanked: 0In stock at SRD.
Edit: SRD's shipping costs still puts this product comfortably outside of my comfortable price range. Too bad.Last edited by lemisanthrope; 04-14-2015 at 03:59 AM.

I've directly ordered from their official website and still waiting for arrival.
Before they are available at SRD.
In my opinion, selling price at SRD is reasonable.

Thanked: 0SRD's price is reasonable; I'm not faulting them. And I'm sure the product and the ingredients that go into it easily warrant the price. But at $32, it's almost twice as much as I've ever paid for a soap and beyond my purchase threshold. Especially considering I definitely don't need it...

Been looking forward to trying these! I'm starting out with Black Beer, Dark Limes, and Himalayan Heights. I'll probably give Scottish a try next time around.
Definitely thankful that SRD is a US distributor and that as of the time of this post they're slightly less expensive here.

I got in on a little free shipping by ordering one of the Dark Limes, Pink Grapefruit, and a 5/8 Ralf Aust Razor. I'm looking forward to this.
If the soaps don't perform, I'm buying a plane ticket to Berlin and hunting Robin down.Johnny

Please be advised that "Black Beer" is a purely citric scent with a hint of hops. It does not smell like Schwarzbier at all. But nice, and not too intrusive.
Strong and Scottish is like The Peat Monster, only peatier. I would definitely try to get a sample first. Same for Himalayan Heights, and Exotic Elemi. Seriously.
Never fret, Johnny, they've been tried and trued by five seasoned soap connoisseurs (ie friends of mine) in various scenarios (including a pedestrian Chinese import brush and a disposable blade - it was horrible, but less so than usual). But you will find out shortly, anyhow. Just don't forget the preshave soap. Is nice!Last edited by RobinK; 04-14-2015 at 04:06 PM.
