Mikes Natural soaps = Good stuff the shave soap on it's own is very good
I've used Pine & Cedar (great fall scent), and Vetiver (didn't care for this scent)

Gotta go easy, first on the list for 2015 is Boellis Panama 1924 though. A doff of my hat to Phrank on that one for enabling me by sending a sample to use. That still leaves the rest of the year for giving artisan soaps a try.

One thing I should mention about the Tiki bar soaps, they have a tallow version and a vegan version of almost all their scents. Make sure you double check what your ordering if you decide to go with them.

Well, just got two soaps in the mail today. Cattie's bubbles, Le piment de la vie and Ticki bar soap, land locked. One reason I ordered these 2 soaps was I had read both these companies had tried to break down MDC ingredients and mimic it. Now I've never tried MDC but hope to get some, some day. As for my first impressions of these 2 soaps, both smell terrific! Le Piment de la vie (The spice of life) is a spicey, leathery fragrance. Tiki Landlocked is a spice Orange. Both scents my wife really liked especially the Tiki. Used the Cattie's Bubbles for todays shave and the lathering was super easy, and super thick and slick.

The Cattie's bubbles soaps come in a massive 8oz jar and the Tiki is a smaller 4oz tin.

Well let's see Harry. Your wife is happy, she loves the scent. You're getting a thick creamy lather, the only thing left to do is convince her of the practicality of you acquiring a new straight razor to add to your collection. Life is Good.
