I kinda like the yellow/orange colour of the cream. You see this severe black glass jar, you open it - Lo and behold - pure funk !
The colour comes of course from the carrot oil that's been used. The carrot is also the only note in the scent I could do without, for the rest I really like it's scent.

    I agree. It looks funky.

I bought this blind yesterday. I am a newbie to this forum....with most of my time on TSN and B&B. Never heard of it. But with so many good reviews here, I just had to "add to cart" when I ordered my straight razor set from SRD.

Another top notch product off the radar is Alvarez Gomez.

Not much to say. It's cream and makes a great easy lather and has a great scent that lingers afterwards. I'm not good at describing scents but it's very nice.

Ok, my jar of this arrived from SRD. I'll be testing this out on Friday. I'm not turned off by the color or the scent. In fact, I swear that there is a Truefitt and Hill cologne scent that closely matches this.

I have so many soaps, it's rare for me to use one more than once in any 2 to 3 week period and I used Baume 2 days in a row after getting it and I'm jonsing to use it again but I'm still on a 7 day new soap review. 2 more soaps to go!!

I used the cream together with the new pre-shave gel this morning and I had a great shave. I like these products very much. The pre-shave gel is slick without being greasy or oily. And I really like the smell and performance of the cream. One of my best "blind" purchases. Thanks SRP for the great recommendation.

So the pre-shave is not an oil? I normally don't use pre-shave products because I don't usually find them useful and often disagree with them in concept because they are usually oil based. But I've heard that Castle and Forbes is excellent albeit pricey. Maybe Baume is a little more reasonable.
