    Default Baume.BE

So with my SRD order today, my Baume.BE came. And while I'm not shaving until tomorrow, I couldn't wait to lather this up. So, out of excitement, I opened the Jar and got the smallest amount of cream off the inside of the lid. I just lathered in my hand using my WD 24mm Silvertip set deep. I added just a bit of water and started to lather. Add a bit more water and kept lathering. Add a bit more water and kept lathering. This went on for some time and holy cow was I amazed at how the lather kept building and building and building to no end with just a little bit of cream. Lynn was right in his straight razor for beginners video. On top of the amount of lather in my hand, the brush just loaded with lather more than any of my soaps have. And the slickness..... I wouldn't have been able to grab sandpaper with the hand I lathered in. I am absolutely excited to shave with that tomorrow with the new Ralf Aust 5/8" I got today as well!

Congratulations with the baume.be, it's a verrrrry good product indeed! Not sure whether you also purchased this, but the aftershave balm for me is the very best aftershave balm I've ever used.

Unfortunately SRD was out and I couldn't find it else where. I have a bad habit of ordering enough product as to get free shipping anytime I put in an order, so I'm sure it'll get tacked on in an upcoming order. Heard nothing but good reviews on it.

    Gentlemen,

Baum.Be is a superb shave cream — in every way — and especially for sensitive skin. Good stuff.

It is a very good shave cream and one I use routinely.
The lather is dense and has great glide and cushion.

I would place Baume.Be in my top 10 list.

LOVE IT!!!! Just shaved with it. By far the best cushion. Doesn't best slickness of some of my soaps but overall I think it's the best performer. Highly satisfied.

In my book performance wise it's number 1. It only loses points in scent which is pleasant. If they improved the scent it could potentially be number 1.

I actually found the scent to be quite pleasing. What I felt it lost a point in was slickness. Not as slick as some of my soaps, but still pretty slick. Cushion made up for that though.

They also could do something about that awful yellow color. It kinda, sorta looks like something rancid.

    But it does shave good.
