    Default Pirate's Cove Soap

Pirate's Cove Soaps are the first soaps I used when I started doing this Straight Razor/wet shaving thing. I stopped using them because I thought they were causing irritation but realize now that it was probably due to that 2 week or so break in period that we all experience when changing over. Well I bought 2 of their soaps lately: Menthol and Bay Rum. I believe these to be very good soaps now (especially for the money) --they are essential oil and shea butter based ---very slick and moisturizing enough for me. So if you want to give them a go you can find them here:

    and ebay

No problem Dkrus . The scents seem to be stronger than Honey Bee Spa or MamaBear's soap -- that may be good or bad ----but I'm glad I like them because for $3.50 + $2 (shipping) ---well you can't beat it. I don't think they're on the same quality level as MamaBears but they are definitely good for the cash --very slick.

I got some in the Sandalwood, Bay Rum & Lime, and the Menthol. They rock.

I went ahead and got the Bay Rum; the Bay Rum with Ginger; and the Coconut. Here's hoping they rock. Mr. Sims said he'll ship to APO addresses, so I am in luck.

I don't remember having said this before: Thanks for your service. J.

And thank you for your support. Wait, isn't that the old Bartles and Jaymes commercial. Well anyway, thanks for supporting the troops, it is always appreciated.
