    Tom,

If you like the Windsor, you have to try Castle Forbes 1445.
Close scentwise and my absolute favorite CF.

Oh lord! He will shred it, Nessmuck!

Sorrry! Obie did give Windsor a mention back up there.
A Barbershop scent. I can agree.

I like it, yet have not tried the others!

    What to do??

Where is SemperFi when I need him?

I have CF Lime (2nd container) and absolutely love the scent, performance, and post-shave feel. Go figure I'm eager to try CF 1445 some day, but the justification is difficult when I have 5 soaps/creams to use up.

Yes, I have tried Windsor. It's a lovely scent. Actually I have the entire lineup of D.R. Harris soaps in the First Tier. Right now I have only the lavender and the Arlington scents. I think it's about time to stock up. I love these D.R. Harris soaps. The creams, too.

Sorry I’ve been MIA lately, Tom! Been busier than a one armed wallpaper hanger these past few weeks. DR Harris is a lovely performing soap—really the choices come down to scent preferences. If I recall correctly, Magard has samples.

    Gentlemen,

I continue to praise the D.R. Harris soaps — in every respect. Lather, cushion, glide and scent, all of these, combine to make the soap exceptional. I have found the glide in the D.R. Harris soaps to be and the residual slickness to be stellar.

    Noble Otter

    Gentlemen,

A friend sent me a sampling of the Noble Otter The Noir et Vanille shave soap. The fragrance, a warm and robust blend of Bergamot, black tea, jasmine, strawberry and vanilla, is pleasing. I find it a well performing soap overall, although the cushion falls below par. I think it deserve the Second Tier ranking for an artisan soap.

eleven organic sweet orange soap. My friend also sent a sample of this soap, spelled on the lower case. I know nothing about this soap except that it seems to be an artisan soap. Maggard carries it. The fragrance is mild and the performance acceptable overall. I would make it a Third Tier soap.
