Hey Andrew CRSW also sent me an email but it said, "Jay, we have these two new soaps we need you to buy, we made them just for you, please click here," so I clicked twice and Glide Colonia Mediterranea and Barbiere Sapone are also on the way.
Hmm, I thought it was you that might have sent that email but from seeing your post, Andrew, you're right, it probably was Obie....
Well anyway, we're definitely doing our part in keeping this thread very active!Jay

Really, just be careful of Tom, think he's in a strange mood, he might make a remark about about being "wee", what that has to do with soaps I don't know....
Obie could've sent it, but he sounds like he's going minimalist on us....just like a dealer eh? First couple free, then you get ghosted with all this stuff and a bad habit....FML!!

I can't pass up on the opportunity to enable. I purchased the creme only because of my love for Hemingway, and if there was a soap or cream called Steinbeck, I'd be first in line. I believe Hemingway Accoutrements is from the same people who make Barberry Coast shave creams, which have received some decent reviews. I like the ingredient list: shea butter, aloe, white and green tea, sunflower and sweet almond oil, and lavender extract. I was also attracted to the scent profile: top notes of grapefruit, middle notes of bourbon, leather, vanilla, amber, tobacco leaf, cedar, and sandalwood. I often enjoy a matching splash or balm with a soap, but because of the cost, I first ordered the cream ($10 off your first order), but liked the scent so much that I quickly ordered the AS tonic. I've now only used the cream three times, but have enjoyed each shave. I currently rate it somewhere between Tier 1 and 2 creams (my personal rating), a little below Castle Forbes, Alvarez Gomez, Pens, and Antica Barbieria Cola, but slightly above AOS, Truefitt & Hill, Floris, and a few others. Did I say that I loved the scent? It's a warm, creamy leather/vanilla/tobacco scent that many would use in the winter, although I'll use it year round, as any of my scents. If you like creams, like this kind of a scent, are fond of Hemingway, and don't mind spending high end prices, I'd give it a try.
Richard

Oh if Tom's in an off mood and mentioning "wee" things, I'll post a boob picture...neither have FA to do with soaps but boobs always distract Tom (https://straightrazorpalace.com/shav...ml#post1819156 me as well, which is probably why I bought those 2 new soaps...no boob pics to distract me).
Yep, totally agree about Obie's modus operandi...it was fun and larking about until he point us down this crack-laden road of ruin!Jay

Wow, you're fishing for a Lord Thunderin' Jesus, and that gets one if one ever does....going to save that as my eye bleach poster....just makes me want to head down to the marina and do some motor boating.
There, I said it, I'm a pig, but as a pig, I feel like I've been maturing....
edit:, what a fine pic of Jordan Carver...my new fave babe!
